Barbara Meikle

Barbara Meikle was born in New Mexico in 1962 and spent a childhood and adolescence
absorbed in the delights of painting and drawing. She attended the University of Denver, Colorado, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in painting and printmaking. Her education was completed with watercolor and oil painting studies at Cambridge University, England.

Her work revolves around her surroundings, the countryside of the high desert, as well as
the animals that inhabit it. Barbara's paintings have been exhibited at the International
Art Expo in New York City.
